How I’m Feeling during COVID-19

Well, this is a scary time for sure. But as you asked, I am very excited about one thing in particular! I ran for captain of my D1 NCAA equestrian team back in March 2020. It was during an incredible time and under crazy circumstances, but I ran. When the announced that I had gotten captain, I was elated. I was elated for getting it, but also getting back to school in the fall and resuming normalcy.

Here we are in the fall…. And it is not normal! I get to be captain during an incredibly stressful time in our world. It comes with many stresses and challenges, but the challenges it brings excites me. I devote every day to my team and sometimes lose myself in the work. I love my co-captain. We were freshman year roommates and getting to work with her 3 years later is such a treat!
